I hope someone can help me. I am trying to post photos onto my blog but, as soon as one starts loading, I get this message:
Information from this secure page will be submitted to a page that is not secure on https://www.blogger.com.
Submitting sensitive information is strongly discouraged.
then it asks me to 'submit' or 'cancel', so I cancel because I don't know what will happen if I 'submit'! I would welcome any advice, please.

This message is just letting you know that your images you post within your blog wont be secure, that they could be seen by anybody and they are alerting you not to post anything sensitive you dont want anybody to see.Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

I'm no expert, but what is the worst that could happen when you upload your picture anywhere on the world wide web?Submitting sensitive information is strongly discouraged.
This is not about compromising the security of your IT, it's just checking whether you are sure you wish to upload this file for all to see.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hi Paddy H, thanks for that. I've never had the warning before so I thought I'd better find out what it meant first! Thanks again.KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Its more of an alert to remind you that people can steal your images or copy and save them. More for Photographers too who upload their work but dont copyright it.
There isn't actually a foolproof method to prevent images from being copied. But they have to warn the bloggers that the site cannot hold responsibility for who accesses or see's your images.
Like the poster above said, its at no threat to your system its more a security alert for your piece of mind.

The creator owns the copyright without doing anything. You do not need to "copyright" it.
Best way to protect an image is to clearly mark it as copyright ©whomever. That way, someone can still borrow the image, but they can't deny they didn't know it didn't belong to them.0 -
Thanks to everyone who has replied to my post. I am very grateful for all the advice!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Hi, again, all you helpful techies! I'm still trying to upload photos onto my blog. I still get the message that I've described in my OP but, when I click on 'submit' the photos still won't. I can't find any help on Blogger help itself, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me, please?KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Like the above poster said maybe instead of directly uploading your images through the blogger website just upload else where and link them liek the above.
Take a look at
www.photobucket.com , www.imageshack.us , or even google here http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=free+image+hosting&meta for free image hosting.
This is only provided that you can link from elsewhere. I will try look at the website later to see what the problem is.
*Edit* Maybe Check out googles troubleshooting for blogger.com http://support.google.com/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=42538
As they sugfgest it could be something simple like your browser.
